Gunnar Carlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pelle Nyqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Edsbro's zone, Sten Pil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunnar Carlsson came out of the goal and Sten Pil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Monia&Ibrahim's Samuel Dusett got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Pelle Nyqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monia&Ibrahim's supporters rose to their feet, but Pelle Nyqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gunnar Carlsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sten Pil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pelle Nyqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Carlsson having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Pelle Nyqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gunnar Carlsson was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pelle Nyqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Pelle Nyqvist lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Gunnar Carlsson. Sten Pil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gunnar Carlsson stood somewhat misplaced when Pelle Nyqvist came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 58 minute. 61 minutes into the game, Pelle Nyqvist lined in a short shot 0-8 behind a frustrated Gunnar Carlsson. Monia&Ibrahim made a substitution. Isak Bengtsson replaced Jan-Åke Johnsson. After a rather tough play, Monia&Ibrahim's Pelle Nyqvist got a free kick in the 65th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Cao Wei Liang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monia&Ibrahim's supporters rose to their feet, but Cao Wei Liang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adam Olofsson hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Monia&Ibrahim's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
