Rasmus Wållander was a little too slow when Brian Hjelm got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 26th match minute, Edsbro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gert Fransson to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Edsbro booed when Ängens BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Lindgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Brian Hjelm made the kick off in the second half. Svante Offendahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rasmus Wållander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brian Hjelm in the 64th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ängens BK's zone, Jon Brun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rasmus Wållander came out of the goal and Jon Brun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute Brian Hjelm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rasmus Wållander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Robin Lindgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andreas Offendahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Gunnar Carlsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edsbro's Alfons Gustafsson suffered a concussion in the 85th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Robin Lindgren fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ängens BK's protests and gave Robin Lindgren a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ängens BK's Robin Lindgren got a free kick in the 86th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brian Hjelm in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rasmus Wållander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jon Brun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Edsbro players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
