Roy Hedström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claes Hydén, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After a rather tough play, Utö's Tor Göransson got a free kick in the 6th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Lyrestad's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Markusson came free, but Roy Hedström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christoffer Fors's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Kent Juhlin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 13 minutes into the match, Utö's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Abad came free, but Kent Juhlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roy Hedström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Markusson in the 15th minute of play. With a little luck, Utö's Kent Juhlin got control of the ball when Christoffer Fors tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tor Göransson scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roy Hedström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 23 played minutes Lyrestad got a freekick which was hit by Robin Larsfält. After 24 played minutes, Utö's Patrik Stor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roy Hedström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Utö reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Markusson in the 28th minute of play forced Lyrestad's goalkeeper Roy Hedström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Utö's Kent Juhlin got control of the ball when Christoffer Fors tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christoffer Fors who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Kent Juhlin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Christoffer Fors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claes Hydén took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roy Hedström. Roy Hedström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 43 minutes into the game, Jonathan Berglund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Roy Hedström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Utö's Jonathan Berglund got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 47thth minute of the game Edgard Abad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Utö's Kent Juhlin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Lyrestad players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Utö were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claes Hydén was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Lyrestad's goalkeeper Roy Hedström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kevin Markusson. In the 55th minute Tor Göransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roy Hedström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roy Hedström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claes Hydén in the 57th minute of play. Roy Hedström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kevin Markusson in the 59th minute. After 60 minutes of play, Utö's Jonathan Berglund made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roy Hedström was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute, Utö's Claes Hydén dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. When Lyrestad's Christoffer Fors in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Utö's goalie prevented a goal. Lyrestad's Roy Hedström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Lyrestad from getting a goal against them. Roy Hedström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Berglund in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Utö's Claes Hydén ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roy Hedström. Roy Hedström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. The crowd rose to their feet as Kevin Markusson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roy Hedström. That made the score 1-7 in the 76 minute of play. In the 82nd minute Claes Hydén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roy Hedström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Claes Hydén cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-8. Roy Hedström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kent Juhlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Abad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mathias Ahlgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Utö's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
