Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Långasjönscamping IF's Edvin Tinglöf started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Edsbro's goalkeeper Gunnar Carlsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edvin Tinglöf. After a defensive mix-up in Långasjönscamping IF's zone, Edvin Nordstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kevin Samuelsson came out of the goal and Edvin Nordstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kevin Samuelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Jönsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robin Jönsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Kevin Samuelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Brian Hjelm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Långasjönscamping IF's Niklas Brovall quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Peter Sandwall, made in the 26th minute of the game. After 29 played minutes Långasjönscamping IF got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Ola Ahlrot. Långasjönscamping IF's Kevin Samuelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Hjelm in the 30th minute of play. After having played for 32 minutes, Edvin Tinglöf managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Långasjönscamping IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edvin Tinglöf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Långasjönscamping IF's Gustav Brander got a free kick in the 35th minute. Edsbro's Robin Jönsson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Långasjönscamping IF. After some careless play in the Edsbro defense, Edvin Tinglöf kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gunnar Carlsson. The Edsbro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gunnar Carlsson should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brian Hjelm was the one to do the kick off. When Gustav Brander fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Långasjönscamping IF's protests and gave Gustav Brander a yellow card for diving instead. After 51 played minutes Långasjönscamping IF got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Brander. In the 52nd minute, Henry Vall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brian Hjelm scored 1-2 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kevin Samuelsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Agne Bivall in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Edsbro's Adam Olofsson. With a little luck, Långasjönscamping IF's Kevin Samuelsson got control of the ball when Brian Hjelm tried to sneak it across the goal line. Robin Jönsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kevin Samuelsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robin Jönsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Sven Svensson hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Gunnar Carlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvin Tinglöf, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the match was over Edsbro could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Långasjönscamping IF throughout the match.
