Torsten Hultstrand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With a little luck, Rödeby's Torsten Hultstrand got control of the ball when Arvin Billvall tried to sneak it across the goal line. Torsten Hultstrand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvar Byström in the 17th minute. Oskar Norberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivar Kjellbom in the 20th minute of the match. Torsten Hultstrand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvar Byström's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. The FC Ranta fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when FC Ranta's Alvar Byström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 28th minute, one of Rödeby:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rödeby. Alvar Byström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Torsten Hultstrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Gösta Nyman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvar Byströms short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Torsten Hultstrand to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Torsten Hultstrand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvar Byström's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvar Byström in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Torsten Hultstrand saved Rödeby from getting behind. If Arvin Billvall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

FC Ranta made a substitution. Elliot Aronsson replaced Arvin Billvall. If Elliot Aronsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Alvar Byström notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Rödeby's Torsten Hultstrand. Torsten Hultstrand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alvar Byström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Hultstrand having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvar Byström in the 62nd minute of play forced Rödeby's goalkeeper Torsten Hultstrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fred Friberger hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Torsten Svensson struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Oskar Norberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rödeby. In the 68th play minute Torsten Svensson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Oskar Norberg. 3-1. Alvar Byström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Hultstrand having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Sverker Gustavsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Ranta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sverker Gustavsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rödeby's Torsten Hultstrand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvar Byström in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Ranta's Sverker Gustavsson got a free kick in the 75th minute. The supporters of FC Ranta booed when Rödeby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Ennegren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pål Brandt scored 4-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Torsten Hultstrand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Pål Brandt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torsten Hultstrand was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. In the 90th minute, Sverker Gustavsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pål Brandt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Rödeby defense, David Larsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torsten Hultstrand. The Rödeby fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torsten Hultstrand should have stopped the shot. FC Ranta walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
