Lino Cisco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvar Byström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute Alvar Byström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Cisco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rickard Snäll might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oskar Norberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rickard Snäll ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, FC Ranta's Mikael Vallander got a free kick in the 17th minute. Oskar Norberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rickard Snäll, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sverker Gustavsson kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Vitteryd booed when FC Ranta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sverker Gustavsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute Malcolm Nordlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oskar Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malcolm Nordlund scored 1-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oskar Norberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 31 played minutes FC Vitteryd got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Finman. Emanuel Finman hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Sune Gustafsson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Rickard Snäll could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Oskar Norberg made a huge save. FC Ranta's Oskar Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malcolm Nordlund in the 41st minute of play. When Malcolm Nordlund fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Vitteryd's protests and gave Malcolm Nordlund a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Vitteryd getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Malcolm Nordlund hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Henry Eliasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

FC Ranta made a substitution. Elliot Aronsson replaced Arvin Billvall. The wind increased when Alvar Byström made the kick off in the second half. 2-0 became the score in the 55th minute when Rickard Snäll elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 60th minute, FC Vitteryd's Max Kollberg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Max Kollberg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Vitteryd protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Max Kollberg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Vitteryd fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvar Byström got free with Lino Cisco in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pål Brandt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lino Cisco firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to FC Vitteryd getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Gösta Clementsson hit a great ball. FC Vitteryd's Lino Cisco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save FC Vitteryd from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Alvar Byström sped through FC Vitteryd's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lino Cisco. 79 minutes into the match, Sverker Gustavsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lino Cisco. FC Vitteryd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sverker Gustavsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. After a rather tough play, FC Vitteryd's Emanuel Finman got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Elliot Aronsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lino Cisco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elliot Aronsson ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, FC Ranta's Alvar Byström got a free kick in the 88th minute. Isaac Mateo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Oskar Norberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Fred Friberger in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Vitteryd's Gösta Clementsson. Pål Brandts short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Lino Cisco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. FC Ranta played a much better game than FC Vitteryd and deserved their victory. The FC Vitteryd players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
