Egil Lundin kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Alvar Byström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Vacker having to interfere. With a little luck, Korsberga's Paul Vacker got control of the ball when Alvar Byström tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Ranta's Oskar Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torsten Almkvist in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvar Byström in the 19th minute of play forced Korsberga's goalkeeper Paul Vacker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Ranta booed when Korsberga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egil Håkansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Egil Lundin during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FC Ranta made a substitution. Rune Danielsson replaced Sverker Gustavsson. Egil Lundin hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Alvar Byström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvar Byström in the 28th minute of play forced Korsberga's goalkeeper Paul Vacker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvar Byström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Torsten Almkvist came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Korsberga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torsten Almkvist couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes into the game, Tommy Snell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Korsberga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Ranta the free kick. After 34 played minutes Korsberga got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Snell. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Rune Danielsson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 40th match minute, Korsberga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leif Lenberg to maneuver through the defense. When Alvar Byström came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the FC Ranta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvar Byström couldn't finish the play. Korsberga's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Pål Brandt scored to the left of an out of position Paul Vacker, making the score, 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

FC Ranta made a substitution. Elliot Aronsson replaced Arvin Billvall. 55 minutes into the game, FC Ranta's Elliot Aronsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paul Vacker made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Paul Vacker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elliot Aronsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. During the 59th minute of the match Egil Lundin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Egil Lundin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Korsberga getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Egil Lundin hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Alvar Byström made a precise shot to the right of Paul Vacker. Korsberga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After having played for 66 minutes, Alvar Byström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Ranta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvar Byström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paul Vacker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvar Byström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute Alvar Byström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Vacker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pål Brandt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Vacker having to interfere. Torsten Almkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. If Alvar Byström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paul Vacker came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Ranta's Alvar Byström. But to his dismay, Alvar Byström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. If Elliot Aronsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvar Byström in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paul Vacker prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fred Friberger charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fred Friberger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute, Fred Friberger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Ranta had played much better football throughout.
