The tension between the Jarlabergs IF and the Finspång FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. 0-1 became the score in the 24th minute when Karl Ivarsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Emanuel Lundberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sakarias Holmberg in the 30th minute of play. Torbjörn Vestlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes in the game, Torbjörn Vestlund fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Emanuel Lundberg having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Karl Ivarsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erik Browald was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Erik Browald didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl Ivarsson went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The Finspång FF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jarlabergs IF were winning 0-3.

After a rather tough play, Jarlabergs IF's Tobias Eskilsson got a free kick in the 50th minute. If Torbjörn Vestlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Erik Browald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Ivarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Anthon Grönlund fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jarlabergs IF's protests and gave Anthon Grönlund a yellow card for diving instead. Finspång FF's Stig Ekeroth got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Jarlabergs IF's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Vestlund came free, but Emanuel Lundberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
