Roald Trellund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Björn Gallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jim Olsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. If Albert Örnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jim Olsson to make the kick off. When Jim Olsson came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Egemonium FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jim Olsson couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Dalby RK booed when Egemonium FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Vennerlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gert Gustavsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roald Trellund having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Axel Beckman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Björn Gallin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 76th minute, Dalby RK's Gert Gustavsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roald Trellund. Roald Trellund yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Johnny Kellberg kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Roald Trellund was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bertil Lenberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 81 minute of play. Roald Trellund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gert Gustavsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Söderström in the 87th minute of play forced Dalby RK's goalkeeper Björn Gallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albert Örnberg in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Roald Trellund, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dalby RK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
