Jarl Apelquist kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Boris Örtendahl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Golf United's goal looked a bit too open when Jarl Apelquist came free, but Sten Josefsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Golf United getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Daniel Groth hit a great ball. Harry Skager hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Jarl Apelquist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sten Josefsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Charlie Hydén was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Golf United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Liverpool the free kick. In the 21st minute, Charlie Hydén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Carioca in the 24th minute of play forced Golf United's goalkeeper Sten Josefsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sten Josefsson came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Liverpool's Edmundo Carioca. But to his dismay, Edmundo Carioca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Golf United's Oskar Lundgren got a free kick in the 28th minute. Golf United's Sten Josefsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Carioca in the 31st minute of play. Jarl Apelquist took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sten Josefsson. Sten Josefsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Harry Skager hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Jarl Apelquist managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Liverpool's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarl Apelquist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sten Josefsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute, Abraham Brouwers made a precise shot to the right of Sten Josefsson. Golf United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Edmundo Carioca scored 0-5 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sten Josefsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jarl Apelquist made the kick off in the second half. Sten Josefsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Carioca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the match, Golf United's goalkeeper Sten Josefsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jarl Apelquist. Emanuel Löfskog took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristoffer Ivarsson. Kristoffer Ivarsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Sten Josefsson was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Edmundo Carioca capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmundo Carioca really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. Sten Josefsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Carioca in the 65th minute of play. Golf United's Sten Josefsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Golf United from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd minute, Edmundo Carioca reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sten Josefsson. The goal made the score 1-8. Sten Josefsson was a little too slow when Edmundo Carioca got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 1-9. Sten Josefsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarl Apelquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 82 minutes of play, FC Liverpool's Edmundo Carioca made it 1-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sten Josefsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jörgen Albohm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Josefsson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarl Apelquist in the 88th minute of play forced Golf United's goalkeeper Sten Josefsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sten Josefsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Carioca in the 89th minute of play. Edmundo Carioca struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Sten Josefsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Liverpool. Harry Skager hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the game, Jarl Apelquist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-11. Sten Josefsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over FC Liverpool could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Golf United throughout the match.
