With his leg Ingvar Johansson managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Lokomotiv Granås's Kevin Löfkvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 11 minutes into the game, André Eklund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hera FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lokomotiv Granås the free kick. After 11 played minutes Hera FC got a freekick which was hit by André Eklund. Lokomotiv Granås were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Hera FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Andréas Hellsing took the corner. Mikael Sjöman kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Lokomotiv Granås's Mikael Sjöman fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Ingvar Johansson was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when André Eklund made the kick off in the second half. Ingvar Johansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Persson in the 52nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Hera FC defense, Martin Persson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ingvar Johansson. The Hera FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ingvar Johansson should have stopped the shot. Hera FC's Ingvar Johansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Persson in the 94th minute of play. There was no doubt that Lokomotiv Granås were the better team. Lokomotiv Granås's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
