The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Kevin Löfkvist fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lokomotiv Granås's protests and gave Kevin Löfkvist a yellow card for diving instead. Kevin Löfkvist hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Tommy Lindberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Brouwers in the 3rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Persson in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kristoffer Ivarsson saved FC Liverpool from getting behind. Sigvard Hagberg kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Liverpool's zone, Andréas Hellsing stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristoffer Ivarsson came out of the goal and Andréas Hellsing tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, FC Liverpool's Jarl Apelquist got a free kick in the 13th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Granås's goalkeeper Tommy Lindberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Carioca. Abraham Brouwers hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Martin Persson in the 28th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Liverpool's Tobias Sigman. In the 31st minute, Oskar Valler made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Lindberg. Lokomotiv Granås's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Löfkvist in the 34th minute of play forced FC Liverpool's goalkeeper Kristoffer Ivarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Lokomotiv Granås getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Alvin Palm hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kevin Löfkvist in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kristoffer Ivarsson saved FC Liverpool from getting behind. With a little luck, Lokomotiv Granås's Tommy Lindberg got control of the ball when Jarl Apelquist tried to sneak it across the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Oskar Valler notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Lokomotiv Granås's Tommy Lindberg. Tommy Lindberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jarl Apelquist to make the kick off. Edmundo Carioca took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Lindberg. Tommy Lindberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Sjöman in the 58th minute of play forced FC Liverpool's goalkeeper Kristoffer Ivarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Oskar Valler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Lindberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Simon Haglund kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Tommy Lindberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jarl Apelquist's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Lokomotiv Granås's Tommy Lindberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Carioca in the 68th minute of play. Abraham Brouwers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kevin Löfkvist in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kristoffer Ivarsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 77th minute, Oskar Valler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kevin Löfkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Kristoffer Ivarsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kristoffer Ivarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Persson in the 85th minute of play. FC Liverpool's Kristoffer Ivarsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save FC Liverpool from getting a goal against them. 90 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Granås's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Carioca came free, but Tommy Lindberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Kristoffer Ivarsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the referee ended the match the FC Liverpool players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
