But to his dismay, Krister Hult quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Harry Beckeman hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Thor Holmberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rafael Orlondo. The goal made the score 1-1. After 17 played minutes, Dalby RK's Jörgen Lind shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rafael Orlondo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dalby RK reached it. In the 20th match minute, Dalby RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörgen Lind to maneuver through the defense. Harald Deckbergh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Real Rizord booed when Dalby RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertil Lenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Thor Holmberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dalby RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 33rd minute, Johnny Larsfält left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Rizord fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The referee ignored Dalby RK's protests and gave Thor Holmberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Dalby RK got a freekick which was hit by Thor Holmberg. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Johnny Larsfält to make the kick off. Rafael Orlondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gert Gustavsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee showed Bertil Lenberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Real Rizord's Johnny Larsfält in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dalby RK's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Johnny Larsfält put it in 3-4 from a short distance just to the right of Björn Gallin. In the 71st minute Gert Gustavsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Orlondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thor Holmberg in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Orlondo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Johnny Larsfält blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Björn Gallin having to make a save. In the 88thth minute of the game Thor Holmberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Rizord's Rafael Orlondo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Björn Gallin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnny Larsfält in the 90th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Real Rizord defense, Thor Holmberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Orlondo. The Real Rizord fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Orlondo should have stopped the shot. Real Rizord's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
