Budget FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC South Park the free kick. David Godholm was a little too slow when Johan Svanberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 2-0. After having played for 24 minutes, Tomas Pil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Budget FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Pil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as FC South Park's Jan-Ove Hägglund slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of David Godholm. That made the score 3-1 after 28 minutes of play. Jan-Ove Hägglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. David Godholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
