Spectators: 7752 (Terracing: 5819, Seating: 1783, VIP seats: 150) After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Thor Danielsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ljungsbro's supporters rose to their feet, but Thor Danielsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marc Koch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 7 minutes into the match, Ljungsbro's goal looked a bit too open when Palle Paalgard came free, but Pelle Hedkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ljungsbro getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Bengt-Arne Eckegren hit a great ball. When FC Hackspett U21's Palle Paalgard in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ljungsbro's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bengt-Arne Eckegren during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bengt-Arne Eckegren kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Ljungsbro's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Lustig came free, but Pelle Hedkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marc Koch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars-Erik Hellström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Palle Paalgard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pelle Hedkvist was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Ljungsbro's Pelle Hedkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Lustig in the 30th minute of play. Pelle Hedkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Lustig in the 33rd minute of play. When Alvar Drake fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ljungsbro's protests and gave Alvar Drake a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Hackspett U21 booed when Ljungsbro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvar Drake didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mikael Lustig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pelle Hedkvist having to interfere. Palle Paalgard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pelle Hedkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Palle Paalgard's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Timmy Mikaelsson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 45 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the game, one of Ljungsbro:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.

The wind increased when Mikael Lustig made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Gösta Finnman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marc Koch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When FC Hackspett U21's Mikael Lustig in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in FC Hackspett U21's zone, Gösta Finnman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marc Koch came out of the goal and Gösta Finnman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th match minute, FC Hackspett U21 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Palle Paalgard to maneuver through the defense. When Sigvard Wennerlund came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Ljungsbro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sigvard Wennerlund couldn't finish the play. Bengt-Arne Eckegren hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Pelle Hedkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Lustig in the 80th minute of the match. If Alvar Drake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute Mikael Lustig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pelle Hedkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gösta Finnman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Palle Paalgard's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pelle Hedkvist firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 91 played minutes Ljungsbro got a freekick which was hit by Alvar Drake. When Lars-Erik Hellström came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Ljungsbro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars-Erik Hellström couldn't finish the play. Chants of FC Hackspett U21 echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Ljungsbro had held the ball for most of the match.
