The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christoffer Lövgren showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 18th minute, Åke Karlsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christoffer Lövgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Torsten Dahlquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvar Siöberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Åke Dahlberg charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Åke Dahlberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th match minute, Alekärr IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Åke Dahlberg to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jörgen Rydberg was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Kullander in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Torsten Dahlquist saved Alekärr IF from getting behind. Alvar Siöberg got his second yellow card in the match during the 61st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground.
