After some careless play in the Västra Frölunda IF defense, D.J. Bobek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sigvard Hedman. The Västra Frölunda IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sigvard Hedman should have stopped the shot. In the 5th match minute, Västra Frölunda IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ragnar Utfal to maneuver through the defense. After 6 played minutes, JoynickFC's Armando Paul shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sigvard Hedman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in JoynickFC reached it. After 10 minutes JoynickFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jon Sigman who took care of the corner kick. Jon Sigman made a great header on Västra Frölunda IF's corner, it was just that JoynickFC's André Sjöberg managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 30th minute, Martin Melberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31stth minute of the game Axel Arenstedt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Västra Frölunda IF's Sigvard Hedman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Verner Vester cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. André Sjöberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 46th minute, Armando Paul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kevin Rosen made a kick off. Ingvar Bergvall made in the 52nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Axel Arenstedt however managed to control. Armando Paul scored 7-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sigvard Hedman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th minute, Jon Sigman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sigvard Hedman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Paul, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Västra Frölunda IF's Sigvard Hedman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Arenstedt in the 61st minute of play. André Sjöberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ragnar Rydelius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Axel Arenstedt scored 8-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sigvard Hedman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 68th minute, Axel Arenstedt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sigvard Hedman was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-1. Kevin Rosen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. André Sjöberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg André Sjöberg managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Västra Frölunda IF's Kevin Rosen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Västra Frölunda IF's Ragnar Utfal got a free kick in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Arenstedt in the 90th minute of play forced Västra Frölunda IF's goalkeeper Sigvard Hedman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Karl-Erik Pilgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Västra Frölunda IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JoynickFC the free kick. Karl-Erik Pilgren hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Arenstedt in the 95th minute of play forced Västra Frölunda IF's goalkeeper Sigvard Hedman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. JoynickFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
