David Kullander came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sigvard Hedman could save by the left post. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Slavia Skattungbyn's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jon Sigman was slow to take the kick. During this time Västra Frölunda IF's players had a chance to rest. David Kullander received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sigvard Hedman came out and tried to block the shot, but David Kullander slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 24th minute. Kevin Rosen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Christoffer Lövgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Slavia Skattungbyn's Christoffer Lövgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Oskar Fogel in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Alvar Siöberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Slavia Skattungbyn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Christoffer Lövgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Oskar Fogel in the 56th minute of play forced Slavia Skattungbyn's goalkeeper Christoffer Lövgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvar Siöberg charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvar Siöberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Slavia Skattungbyn getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Västra Frölunda IF may have spent more time on the ball, but Slavia Skattungbyn were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
