After a defensive mix-up in AIK's zone, Kevin Rosen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sten Walroth came out of the goal and Kevin Rosen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ragnar Rydelius kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Iamín Ocaña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Sigvard Hedman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Belchior Boaventura got free with Sigvard Hedman in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 郭凌冰 kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 22nd match minute, Västra Frölunda IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon Sigman to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute of the match George Browall shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sigvard Hedman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sten Walroth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Rosen in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Okan Čiček got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sigvard Hedman made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Belchior Boaventura sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th match minute, Västra Frölunda IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Rosen to maneuver through the defense. When 郭凌冰 fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AIK's protests and gave 郭凌冰 a yellow card for diving instead. Sten Walroth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl-Oskar Fogel went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Okan Čiček sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Okan Čiček stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Västra Frölunda IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon Sigman to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Västra Frölunda IF's zone, George Browall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sigvard Hedman came out of the goal and George Browall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Belchior Boaventura hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Sigvard Hedman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belchior Boaventura, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. George Browall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. George Browall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sakarias Lundin kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Sten Walroth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ragnar Rydelius in the 88th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, AIK's 郭凌冰 got a free kick in the 90th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Västra Frölunda IF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AIK.
