Spectators: 7838 (Terracing: 5880, Seating: 1802, VIP seats: 156) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when D.J. Bobek kicked off to start the match. If D.J. Bobek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bertil Borre came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and André Sjöberg could save by the left post. André Sjöberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertil Borre, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Reine Vestlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Målilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reine Vestlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Reine Vestlund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Sjöberg was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Einar Gustavsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ove Lindström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute D.J. Bobek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einar Gustavsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Einar Gustavsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Lindström in the 43rd minute of play. JoynickFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ove Lindström in the 45th minute. Ove Lindström made a great header on JoynickFC's corner, it was just that Målilla's Einar Gustavsson managed to reach the ball for a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reine Vestlund to make the kick off. André Sjöberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reine Vestlund in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind JoynickFC's goalkeeper André Sjöberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If D.J. Bobek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to JoynickFC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Armando Paul hit a great ball. André Sjöberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Eneko, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 61 played minutes JoynickFC got a freekick which was hit by Ove Lindström. Ove Lindström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Einar Gustavsson made a huge save. Ingvar Bergvall hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Mark Åström's late challenge caught a Målilla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mark Åström helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th minute, Mark Åström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, Armando Paul notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Målilla's Einar Gustavsson. Einar Gustavsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When JoynickFC's Ove Lindström in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Målilla's goalie prevented a goal. André Sjöberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertil Borre in the 73rd minute of the match. D.J. Bobek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Einar Gustavsson made a huge save. In the 84th minute Reine Vestlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Sjöberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by JoynickFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rickard Lundin was slow to take the kick. During this time Målilla's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of JoynickFC's goalie and right to Bertil Borre. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. JoynickFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Bertil Borre kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. André Sjöberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Eneko in the 90th minute of the match. After 90 minutes of play, Målilla's Severino Eneko made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. André Sjöberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Målilla getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Rickard Lundin hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Severino Eneko put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of André Sjöberg. When the referee ended the match the Målilla players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
