After 28 played minutes JoynickFC got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Olofsson. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by JoynickFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The corner ended in Kjell Kjellkvist almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but JoynickFC's André Sjöberg did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per-Olof Asserlindh got free with André Sjöberg in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Ove Lindström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juozapas Garbačiauskas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. D.J. Bobek was the one to do the kick off. In the 75th match minute, Galo Soccers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wincenty Mietus to maneuver through the defense. André Sjöberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukas Kihlman, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Juozapas Garbačiauskas made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Armando Paul sent off a good shot on target. Juozapas Garbačiauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from D.J. Bobek in the 89th minute of the match. Bernt Olofsson hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. JoynickFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
