If Iosif Cazan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 7 played minutes Höjden BK got a freekick which was hit by Alvar Öman. In the 8th minute Iosif Cazan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Mårtensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iosif Cazan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Ivar Mårtensson made a huge save. Sven-Ove Ivarsson hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Ola Tillman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Mårtensson having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, Al-Tåga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iosif Cazan to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Al-Tåga's zone, Sven-Ove Ivarsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eilif Heldrup came out of the goal and Sven-Ove Ivarsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Al-Tåga getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. John Karlstedt hit a great ball. Eilif Heldrup made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Kruuse in the 40th minute of play. After 47 minutes, Bo-Erik Trillkott mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Höjden BK and the Al-Tåga players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute, Bo-Erik Trillkott hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven-Ove Ivarsson made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Al-Tåga's Iosif Cazan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivar Mårtensson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Ola Tillman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute Iosif Cazan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Mårtensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivar Mårtensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kuntet Ballawi in the 64th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Nils-Emil Torstensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iosif Cazan scored 2-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivar Mårtensson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iosif Cazan in the 76th minute of play forced Höjden BK's goalkeeper Ivar Mårtensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Sven-Ove Ivarsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Eilif Heldrup was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 93rd minute, Nils-Emil Torstensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Al-Tåga's John Karlstedt tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Höjden BK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
