Spectators: 7711 (Terracing: 5785, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 153) Steve Ball started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Gianluigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Pierre Barda in the 6th minute of play. Vilhelm Beckeman kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. The supporters of Norråker booed when Fyrkanten FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niklas Lustig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gianluigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niklas Lustig in the 12th minute of play. Jan-Ove Joensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskar Widberg having to interfere. Oskar Widberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Ove Joensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norråker's Sören Drake got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oskar Widberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sören Drake in the 29th minute of play. Sören Drake received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Oskar Widberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Steve Ball had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jan-Ove Joensson came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Norråker fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Ove Joensson couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the match, Norråker's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Lustig came free, but Gianluigi Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Jean-Pierre Barda kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gianluigi Buffon. That made the score 1-0 in the 42 minute of play. Gianluigi Buffon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Steve Ball went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Jan-Ove Joensson made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Leif Sjöberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Gianluigi Buffon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gianluigi Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leif Sjöberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 61st minute, Fonda Urbistondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, Norråker's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Pierre Barda came free, but Gianluigi Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Fyrkanten FF's Mähämmädäli Alişov to fire away a dangerous shot which Gianluigi Buffon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Norråker's zone, Steve Ball stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gianluigi Buffon came out of the goal and Steve Ball tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the match, Fyrkanten FF's Steve Ball sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gianluigi Buffon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oskar Widberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan-Ove Joensson in the 74th minute. The audience was convinced that Jan-Ove Joensson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oskar Widberg was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sören Drake in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oskar Widberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Norråker's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Erik Lindgren in the 81st minute. The corner ended in Erik Lindgren almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fyrkanten FF's Oskar Widberg did a great save. In the 91st minute of the match, Jan-Ove Joensson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Oskar Widberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Steve Ball had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fyrkanten FF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
