If Vidar Bäckman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Pihlgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnny Ennegren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonas Pihlgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johnny Ennegren's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Salem Hotspurs FC's Johnny Ennegren got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 48th minute, Arkadiusz Zaremba made a precise shot to the right of Lukas Lupidana. Salem Hotspurs FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Jens-Erik Mager took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Jonas Pihlgren to make any attempt to save it. 59 minutes into the game, Pelle Boman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salem Hotspurs FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fotbollens Lakejer BK the free kick. In the 59th match minute, Salem Hotspurs FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pelle Boman to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 70 minutes, Johnny Ennegren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salem Hotspurs FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johnny Ennegren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the game, Filip Negulici threw the ball into play from the sideline. Salem Hotspurs FC's Pelle Boman quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Fredrik Vesterberg charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fredrik Vesterberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st minute, Filip Negulici hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Fotbollens Lakejer BK's Jonas Pihlgren got control of the ball when Johnny Ennegren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lukas Lupidana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludwig Magnusson, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Ludwig Magnusson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
