The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ivar Mårtensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivar Jansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Höjden BK's Ivar Mårtensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Sefastsson in the 8th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Åskloster FF's goalkeeper Stig Vidman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Ove Ivarsson. When Ivar Jansson came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Åskloster FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivar Jansson couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thomas Sundberg during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Höjden BK's Thomas Sundberg got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute, Emil Sefastsson made a precise shot to the right of Ivar Mårtensson. Höjden BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Robin Dahlgren came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Stig Vidman could save by the left post. Karl-Axel Ahlqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Mårtensson having to interfere. Sven-Ove Ivarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Stig Vidman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emil Sefastsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivar Mårtensson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Stig Vidman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Ove Ivarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Sven-Ove Ivarsson notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Åskloster FF's Stig Vidman. Stig Vidman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Emil Sefastsson made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Ove Ivarsson in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stig Vidman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 53 minutes into the match, Höjden BK's goalkeeper Ivar Mårtensson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emil Sefastsson. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Åskloster FF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bo-Erik Trillkott was slow to take the kick. During this time Höjden BK's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Höjden BK booed when Åskloster FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Axel Ahlqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stig Vidman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Ove Ivarsson in the 59th minute of play. Sven-Ove Ivarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven-Ove Ivarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig Vidman having to interfere. Åskloster FF made a substitution. Rudolf Eliasson replaced Elof Molin. After a rather tough play, Åskloster FF's Karl-Axel Ahlqvist got a free kick in the 70th minute. Fred Sandberg hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, Höjden BK's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Jansson came free, but Ivar Mårtensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Åskloster FF's Jens-Ove Bergström to fire away a dangerous shot which Ivar Mårtensson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Höjden BK getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Bo-Erik Trillkott hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, Åskloster FF's Jens-Ove Bergström broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Höjden BK's Sven-Ove Ivarsson in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Åskloster FF's goalie prevented a goal. Emil Sefastsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Mårtensson having to interfere. Jens-Ove Bergström charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jens-Ove Bergström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jens-Ove Bergström hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. A throw-in in the 85th minute of the game was made by Eric Felin with Martin Paulin as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 86 played minutes Höjden BK got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Ove Ivarsson. A collision led to Åskloster FF getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Karl-Axel Ahlqvist hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Höjden BK had played much better football throughout.
