Joar Håning's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Johan Berg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. IFK Bergen's Emil Ekegren got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Alexander Andreasson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hakenäset IFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. In the 47th minute, Axel Ståhlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mark Håkansson was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes Hakenäset IFK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rickard Käcker who took care of the corner kick. IFK Bergen were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Hakenäset IFK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rickard Käcker took the corner. The corner led IFK Bergen's Rickard Käcker to fire away a dangerous shot which Christoffer Falk despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alexander Andreasson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th match minute, Hakenäset IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valter Nyman to maneuver through the defense. Emil Ekegren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Christoffer Falk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mark Håkansson took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christoffer Falk. Christoffer Falk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. In the 74th match minute, Hakenäset IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Arne Sefastsson to maneuver through the defense. When Rickard Käcker came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the IFK Bergen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rickard Käcker couldn't finish the play. Jerry Aronsson kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Mark Håkansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christoffer Falk was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ambrosio Seber during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 83 minutes into the match, Hakenäset IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Håkansson came free, but Christoffer Falk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. IFK Bergen's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Ståhlberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christoffer Falk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Andreasson in the 92nd minute of play forced IFK Bergen's goalkeeper Johan Berg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Hakenäset IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Mark Håkansson came free, but Christoffer Falk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
