Edgar Poe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Villiam Linqvist in the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Najse BK's goal looked a bit too open when Elvison Presley came free, but Fabian Björkdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Poe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Hansson in the 28th minute of play. Fabian Björkdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Augusto Fantini, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Royal Excel Mouscron's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Bark came free, but Edgar Poe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Villiam Linqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Edgar Poe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 36th minute Ingvar Bark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Poe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingvar Bark took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar Poe. Edgar Poe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 40 minutes into the match, Lucas Bolin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Poe. Royal Excel Mouscron's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Bolin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Jörgen Siggman kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Najse BK's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Kunze came free, but Fabian Björkdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Frank Kunze made a precise shot to the right of Fabian Björkdal. Najse BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. After 46 played minutes Royal Excel Mouscron got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Kindermans. After the first half Najse BK were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Royal Excel Mouscron's Edgar Poe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Bolin in the 51st minute of play. Ingvar Bark could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Edgar Poe made a huge save. Edgar Poe was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Håkan Hansson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Håkan Hansson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. 81 minutes into the match, Najse BK's goal looked a bit too open when João Augusto Fantini came free, but Fabian Björkdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute Frank Kunze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Björkdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Najse BK getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jörgen Siggman hit a great ball. Melker Lundblad took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabian Björkdal. Najse BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Oscar Kindermans took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabian Björkdal. Fabian Björkdal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. The Najse BK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
