Edgar Poe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 8 minutes into the match, FC Futsal's Szymon Cytrynski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgar Poe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Futsal were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Royal Excel Mouscron's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fredric Isaksson took the corner. Sven Broberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Szymon Cytrynski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edgar Poe. Szymon Cytrynski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When FC Futsal's Boguslaw Teofila in 31 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Edgar Poe guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Edgar Poe stood somewhat misplaced when Boguslaw Teofila came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 31 minute. 35 minutes into the match, Lenílson Antunes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ture Deckberg. FC Futsal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lenílson Antunes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 38th match minute, Royal Excel Mouscron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lenílson Antunes to maneuver through the defense. After 43 minutes of play FC Futsal's Szymon Cytrynski was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Royal Excel Mouscron's Lenílson Antunes got a free kick in the 45th minute. Edgar Poe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boguslaw Teofila in the 48th minute of the match.

After 51 played minutes FC Futsal got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Johan Trulsson. Royal Excel Mouscron's Edgar Poe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boguslaw Teofila in the 54th minute of play. After 54 minutes, Boguslaw Teofila made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Royal Excel Mouscron's Edgar Poe tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute, Boguslaw Teofila left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Futsal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Royal Excel Mouscron's Edgar Poe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boguslaw Teofila in the 70th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Royal Excel Mouscron's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Adelsköld came free, but Edgar Poe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lenílson Antunes's late challenge caught a FC Futsal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lenílson Antunes helped the player get up and apologised. Lenílson Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boguslaw Teofila in the 82nd minute of play forced Royal Excel Mouscron's goalkeeper Edgar Poe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The FC Futsal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ture Deckberg should have stopped the shot. In the 93rd minute, Dennis Hermansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Fredric Isaksson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
