Spectators: 7566 (Terracing: 5791, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Elliott Abrahamsson made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Göran Bergqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 4th minute, Ingvar Sjögren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Royal Excel Mouscron's Göran Bergqvist got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Royal Excel Mouscron's Melker Lundblad seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Melker Lundblad the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Royal Excel Mouscron protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Melker Lundblad had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 9 minutes into the game, one of Royal Excel Mouscron:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 14th minute, Bence Shamurin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Royal Excel Mouscron's goal looked a bit too open when Bo Helström came free, but Edgar Poe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Spring & Sparka's Wilhelm Åkesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Vennersten in the 20th minute of play. Alf Finsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sverker Blixt in the 21st minute of play forced Spring & Sparka's goalkeeper Wilhelm Åkesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Spring & Sparka's Wilhelm Åkesson got control of the ball when Sverker Blixt tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Bence Shamurin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilhelm Åkesson. That made the score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. Wilhelm Åkesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pär Wallmark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Ingvar Lindblom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the game, Frank Kunze recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wilhelm Åkesson. Frank Kunze showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 38 minutes into the match, Felix Vennersten dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wilhelm Åkesson, 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sverker Blixt got free with Wilhelm Åkesson in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilhelm Åkesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georg Wiberg in the 42nd minute of the match. Wilhelm Åkesson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felix Vennersten showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 47 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Wilhelm Åkesson came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Royal Excel Mouscron's Frank Kunze. But to his dismay, Frank Kunze quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Pär Wallmark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 minutes of play, Royal Excel Mouscron's Bence Shamurin made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilhelm Åkesson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wilhelm Åkesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Kunze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 66 minutes, Frank Kunze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Royal Excel Mouscron's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Kunze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frank Kunze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Wilhelm Åkesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute Felix Vennersten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Åkesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilhelm Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pär Wallmark, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Royal Excel Mouscron's Frank Kunze nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilhelm Åkesson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. In the 79th minute, Pär Wallmark left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Royal Excel Mouscron fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. 82 minutes into the match, Spring & Sparka's goal looked a bit too open when Pär Wallmark came free, but Wilhelm Åkesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Spring & Sparka defense, Pär Wallmark kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilhelm Åkesson. The Spring & Sparka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilhelm Åkesson should have stopped the shot. In the 88th minute, Frank Kunze ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilhelm Åkesson was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-1. Felix Vennersten struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Wilhelm Åkesson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Royal Excel Mouscron. Royal Excel Mouscron's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
