The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alec Parslow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börje Bruse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the match, Billingsfors BK's goal looked a bit too open when Börje Bruse came free, but Alec Parslow reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute of the match Edmund Ferm sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alec Parslow skillfully saved the ball. With an all-out effort, Billingsfors BK's Evert Persson threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Volli Linnus, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Evert Persson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruy Igartua in the 21st minute. A collision led to SWARS getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Jan Malmberg hit a great ball. After 28 played minutes SWARS got a freekick which was hit by Börje Bruse. After 30 minutes SWARS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andreas Molin who took care of the corner kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andreas Molin during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Billingsfors BK's Volli Linnus got a free kick in the 37th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Börje Bruse managed to get in a good position for a shot. SWARS's supporters rose to their feet, but Börje Bruse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alec Parslow breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes into the game, SWARS's Beloslav Vesov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alec Parslow made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 48th minute of the match SWARS got a corner. Billingsfors BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Beloslav Vesov ran over to the corner to take the kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Volli Linnus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alec Parslow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börje Bruse in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute SWARS were awarded a corner. Beloslav Vesov went to the cornerflag to take it. Evert Persson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Volli Linnus in the 55th minute of play. Lars Axelsson hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Beloslav Vesov took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alec Parslow. Alec Parslow dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruy Igartua in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evert Persson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruy Igartua in the 68th minute of play forced SWARS's goalkeeper Evert Persson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Billingsfors BK getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ruy Igartua hit a great ball. If Börje Bruse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evert Persson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Volli Linnus in the 77th minute of play. Börje Bruse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Billingsfors BK getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ruy Igartua hit a great ball. In the 94th minute Ruy Igartua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Persson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Erik Skarkman kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. SWARS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
