The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Roger Malm made a precise shot to the right of Arne Forsman. FC Black Label's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 7 minutes into the game, MDV Mount Eaver's Sven-Olof Tinglöv nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arne Forsman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Edvin Stålberg scored 0-3 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arne Forsman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonas Klack hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Sjöman in the 27th minute of play forced FC Black Label's goalkeeper Arne Forsman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, MDV Mount Eaver's Sven-Olof Tinglöv nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arne Forsman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. In the 33rd minute Sven-Olof Tinglöv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Forsman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ivar Sundin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arne Forsman was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. After some careless play in the FC Black Label defense, Ivar Sundin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arne Forsman. The FC Black Label fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arne Forsman should have stopped the shot. In the 43rd minute, Sven-Olof Tinglöv left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MDV Mount Eaver fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. After the first half MDV Mount Eaver were leading 0-10. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mattias Malmgren was the one to do the kick off. Arne Forsman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Sjöman in the 51st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivar Sundin got free with Arne Forsman in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arne Forsman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Malm, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Sven-Olof Tinglöv could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Arne Forsman made a huge save. In the 56th match minute, FC Black Label was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Klack to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, Sven-Olof Tinglöv dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arne Forsman, 0-11. In the 63rd minute, Ivar Sundin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MDV Mount Eaver fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-12. Arne Forsman was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sven-Olof Tinglöv. Tom Sjöman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Arne Forsman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. MDV Mount Eaver's Tony Biörkquist was substituted for Ernst Hägg. MDV Mount Eaver made a substitution. Jon Hernström replaced Tom Sjöman. 69 minutes into the game, MDV Mount Eaver's Ivar Sundin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arne Forsman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-13. 72 minutes into the match, FC Black Label's goal looked a bit too open when Jon Hernström came free, but Arne Forsman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Ivar Sundin made a precise shot to the right of Arne Forsman. FC Black Label's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-14. Arne Forsman came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by MDV Mount Eaver's Sven-Olof Tinglöv. But to his dismay, Sven-Olof Tinglöv quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-15. MDV Mount Eaver's Ragnar Nordström was substituted for Ivar Sundin. Arne Forsman came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by MDV Mount Eaver's Sven-Olof Tinglöv. But to his dismay, Sven-Olof Tinglöv quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-16. After 94 played minutes Roger Malm rounded FC Black Label's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-18. The FC Black Label fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. MDV Mount Eaver were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
