Reine Kvalfält who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Max Lange when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dan Björnsson was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Granbergs Goa Grabbar's Max Lange proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Granbergs Goa Grabbar from getting a goal against them. Dåsens IF's Edmund Mattsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Hermansson in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reine Kvalfält in the 48th minute of play forced Granbergs Goa Grabbar's goalkeeper Max Lange to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reine Kvalfält stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nicklas Carlsson charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, Granbergs Goa Grabbar's Kurt Bokelund got a free kick in the 77th minute. Per-Åke Aronsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Max Lange tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Granbergs Goa Grabbar's Nicklas Carlsson got his second yellow card of the match in the 82nd minute. The referee ordered Nicklas Carlsson off the ground. The supporters of Dåsens IF booed when Granbergs Goa Grabbar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicklas Carlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Reine Kvalfält got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
