The Al-Norr fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mårten Ekström should have stopped the shot. After 21 played minutes, Al-Norr's Patrik Åström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Teofilo Distiratsu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Al-Norr reached it. Jesper Vollander might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mårten Ekström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jesper Vollander ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesper Vollander in the 24th minute of play forced Al-Norr's goalkeeper Mårten Ekström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jesper Vollander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mårten Ekström having to make a save. Mårten Ekström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesper Vollander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to ZigZag Athletic getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Zhuang Gang Peng hit a great ball. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Al-Norr's goalkeeper Mårten Ekström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 37th minute of the match ZigZag Athletic got a corner. Al-Norr's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bengt-Rune Öman ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lin Xiao Chao was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 39th match minute, Al-Norr was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Giertych to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute of the game Christian Östensson made a throw-in which Dhrtatman Barmi played forward. Mårten Ekström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Ares in the 41st minute of play. After the first half ZigZag Athletic were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gösta Messi made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Jesper Vollander made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Al-Norr's Mårten Ekström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 53 minutes into the game, ZigZag Athletic's Jesper Vollander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mårten Ekström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. After 69 minutes Al-Norr's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bengt-Rune Öman who took care of the corner kick. 74 minutes into the game, Zhuang Gang Peng was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ZigZag Athletic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Al-Norr the free kick. Zhuang Gang Peng hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. ZigZag Athletic's August Hökkvist was substituted for Jesper Vollander. ZigZag Athletic made a substitution. Yu Ran Sha replaced Lin Xiao Chao. A collision led to ZigZag Athletic getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Zhuang Gang Peng hit a great ball. When Vinicio Beliran fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ZigZag Athletic's protests and gave Vinicio Beliran a yellow card for diving instead. Al-Norr's Melker Bark was substituted for Dimitris Kolleris. After 79 played minutes ZigZag Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Beliran. After some careless play in the ZigZag Athletic defense, Dennis Pihl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teofilo Distiratsu. The ZigZag Athletic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teofilo Distiratsu should have stopped the shot. Mårten Ekström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from August Hökkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. August Hökkvist let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 85th minute shot 1-8 at rihgt post. ZigZag Athletic's Teofilo Distiratsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melker Bark in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute Björn Rönn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Distiratsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
