When Pär Björnberg came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Spånga BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pär Björnberg couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Carlos Sainz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 10 minutes into the match, Spånga BK's goalkeeper Robin Håning had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulrik Lindmark. Carlos Sainz let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 12th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. Ulrik Lindmark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sven Skoog fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spånga BK's protests and gave Sven Skoog a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Kenglo booed when Spånga BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Skoog didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Benito Pearce from long distance, 21 minutes into the match, got Robin Håning's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 23rd match minute, FC Kenglo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gottfrid Hermansson to maneuver through the defense. Robin Håning was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Bengt-Rune Palm capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bengt-Rune Palm really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. The supporters of FC Kenglo booed when Spånga BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Skoog didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Carlos Sainz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robin Håning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulrik Lindmark in the 37th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Max Jönsson during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carlos Sainzs short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Robin Håning to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Carlos Sainz made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Spånga BK got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Skröder. In the 58th minute Carlos Sainz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Håning saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Spånga BK defense, Carlos Sainz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robin Håning. The Spånga BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robin Håning should have stopped the shot. In the 75th minute, Carlos Sainz made a precise shot to the right of Robin Håning. Spånga BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Carlos Sainz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robin Håning read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Spånga BK's Per-Arne Forss got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 96 minutes, Carlos Sainz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kenglo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Sainz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that FC Kenglo were the better team. FC Kenglo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
