The supporters of Sollentunavallens Hjältar booed when IFK Göteborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Ove Lindkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sollentunavallens Hjältar's Sven-Oskar Kollberg shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 12th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Christian Wenerdahl but with some difficulty. IFK Göteborg's Christian Wenerdahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Balasi in the 15th minute of play. Ahmet Emir Temizöz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Christian Wenerdahl made a huge save. After 17 minutes, Jens-Ove Lindkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IFK Göteborg and the Sollentunavallens Hjältar players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jens-Ove Lindkvist hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Christian Wenerdahl didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmet Emir Temizöz went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the last second Christian Wenerdahl throw himself and got hold of the ball when Håkan Olsson in the 23rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Sollentunavallens Hjältar were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after IFK Göteborg's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sven-Oskar Kollberg took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Sven-Oskar Kollberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Christian Wenerdahl quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Christian Wenerdahl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Emir Temizöz's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Sollentunavallens Hjältar's Sven-Oskar Kollberg got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Emir Temizöz in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Wenerdahl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jens-Ove Lindkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute of the match Sven-Oskar Kollberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christian Wenerdahl showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tobias Vincke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Christian Wenerdahl made a huge save. After 43 played minutes IFK Göteborg got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Kilman. The Sollentunavallens Hjältar fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Sollentunavallens Hjältar's Abelardo Balasi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Emir Temizöz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Christian Wenerdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Emir Temizöz, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 56th minute, Tobias Vincke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Wenerdahl was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. If Håkan Olsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Emir Temizöz in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Wenerdahl saved IFK Göteborg from getting behind. Christian Wenerdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Oskar Kollberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Ahmet Emir Temizöz sped through IFK Göteborg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Christian Wenerdahl. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Ahmet Emir Temizöz put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Christian Wenerdahl. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sollentunavallens Hjältar had played much better football throughout.
