An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Abadie in the 4th minute of play forced Vurrbo's goalkeeper Robin Henriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Marco Rienda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Alejandro Abadie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ninjas in Pyjamas's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Abadie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robin Henriksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 11 minutes into the game, Fritz Lindqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ninjas in Pyjamas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vurrbo the free kick. A collision led to Ninjas in Pyjamas getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Fritz Lindqvist hit a great ball. David Sjögren who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Alisson Becke when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Dante Txema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute Karl Molander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Henriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 played minutes Vurrbo got a freekick which was hit by Tage Brolin. Robin Henriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fritz Lindqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Vurrbo getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Karl-Ove Broberg hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vurrbo's goalkeeper Robin Henriksson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fritz Lindqvist hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Robin Henriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Txema, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Ove Broberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Alisson Becke made a huge save. In the 45th match minute, Vurrbo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingemar Samuelsson to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Alejandro Abadie made the kick off in the second half. Alejandro Abadie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Robin Henriksson made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Ninjas in Pyjamas's Alejandro Abadie slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Robin Henriksson. That made the score 0-1 after 56 minutes of play. Karl-Ove Broberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dante Txema received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Robin Henriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 1-1 became the score in the 68th minute when Tage Brolin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Alisson Becke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tage Brolin in the 74th minute of play. Robin Henriksson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alejandro Abadie in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute, Segundo Lapurdi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alisson Becke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tage Brolin in the 80th minute of play. Dante Txema was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. Ninjas in Pyjamas's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Dante Txema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alisson Becke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tage Brolin's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Despite being the better team, Ninjas in Pyjamas failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
