The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpected shot in the 3rd minute by Risto Mihailovski got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 11 minutes into the match, Eloy Suero notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sällskapet BK's Stellan Söderberg. Stellan Söderberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stellan Söderberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Suero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Sällskapet BK defense, Fredrik Gernberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stellan Söderberg. The Sällskapet BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stellan Söderberg should have stopped the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ain Trumm was the one to do the kick off. Oskar Tidéksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ain Trumm in the 58th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, V.HOBY FF's Denis Birke dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Suero in the 66th minute of play forced Sällskapet BK's goalkeeper Stellan Söderberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Eloy Suero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
