In the 31st minute, Arvika BF's Nae Ionescu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nae Ionescu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Arvika BF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nae Ionescu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Fiskaruddens BK were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Arvika BF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fabrizio Baresi took the corner. After a defensive mix-up in Fiskaruddens BK's zone, Staffan Gallin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After the first half Arvika BF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wanderson Meireles in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higino Conde saved Arvika BF from getting behind. Higino Conde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Hurtig, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Magne Blom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Fiskaruddens BK's Wanderson Meireles in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 85 played minutes Arvika BF got a freekick which was hit by Staffan Gallin. 87 minutes into the game, Fiskaruddens BK's Åke Rolfsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Higino Conde made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The supporters of Fiskaruddens BK booed when Arvika BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alican Ünverdi didn't get a good kick on the ball.
