The score was now 1-0. 11 minutes into the game, Wincenty Kissel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Torsten Stålman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kennet Kock recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 16 minutes, Jonathan Soon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Watford FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Soon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. V.HOBY FF's Oskar Tidéksson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kennet Kock in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Jonathan Soon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Fredrik Gernberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 played minutes Watford FC got a freekick which was hit by Adam Wallmark. Jonathan Soon scored 2-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oskar Tidéksson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th match minute, V.HOBY FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xu Chao Wei to maneuver through the defense. Oskar Tidéksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kennet Kock in the 35th minute of the match. Torsten Stålman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urban Näfver in the 39th minute of the match. Jonathan Soon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Oskar Tidéksson made a huge save. In the 46th minute Xu Chao Wei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Stålman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eloy Suero to make the kick off. In the 58th minute, Adam Wallmark ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oskar Tidéksson was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Jonathan Soon might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oskar Tidéksson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonathan Soon ran back to his position shaking his head. Kennet Kock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 minutes, Kennet Kock mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Watford FC and the V.HOBY FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Watford FC's Torsten Stålman got control of the ball when Denis Birke tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Eloy Suero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torsten Stålman was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Jonathan Soon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskar Tidéksson having to interfere. Torsten Stålman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Suero, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After 78th play minutes Jonathan Soon shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Oskar Tidéksson and just under the crossbar into goal. Oskar Tidéksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kennet Kock in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Watford FC's Sven-Ove Stenkvist got a free kick in the 82nd minute. V.HOBY FF's Urban Näfver was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Torsten Stålman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 89th match minute, Watford FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Wallmark to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of Watford FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of V.HOBY FF:s goal. Watford FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
