After a rather tough play, Polar Ice Caps's Wiktor Ugla got a free kick in the 22nd minute. IF Älgarna's Albert Freitag played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stellan Sellberg in the 27th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in IF Älgarna's zone, Jack Lundblad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Freitag came out of the goal and Jack Lundblad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stellan Sellberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute Jack Lundblad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Freitag saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emil Holmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonny Månsson in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ture Viklund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonny Månsson to strike the kick off in the second half. IF Älgarna's Albert Freitag played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiktor Ugla in the 78th minute of play. After 82 played minutes Polar Ice Caps got a freekick which was hit by Tord Lundin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonny Månsson in the 83rd minute of play forced Polar Ice Caps's goalkeeper Ture Viklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Michael Hjelm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Hasselqvist made in the 92nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Polar Ice Caps's Róbert Čaplovič. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Jack Lundblad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Polar Ice Caps's supporters rose to their feet, but Jack Lundblad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albert Freitag breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Polar Ice Caps booed when IF Älgarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Holmgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Polar Ice Caps players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented IF Älgarna from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
