In the 17th minute of the match Zendraget BK got a corner. Bennis's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Oscar Malmgren ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Bennis's goalie and right to Samuel Fransson. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Bennis's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Marcus Vase made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Klas Axelsson sent off a good shot on target. Oscar Malmgren made a great header on Zendraget BK's corner, it was just that Bennis's Marcus Vase managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, Bennis's Marcus Vase got control of the ball when Klas Axelsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Bennis defense, Klas Axelsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcus Vase. The Bennis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcus Vase should have stopped the shot. In the 44th minute, Klas Axelsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zendraget BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benny Ellen made a kick off. After 51 minutes, Kent Tinglöv mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zendraget BK and the Bennis players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes Zendraget BK got a freekick which was hit by Kent Tinglöv. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Klas Axelsson in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Vase prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bertil Apelquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bennis's Marcus Vase played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klas Axelsson in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of Zendraget BK booed when Bennis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Nord didn't get a good kick on the ball.
