Emil Holmgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciro Hustaz in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albert Freitag saved IF Älgarna from getting behind. When IF Älgarna's Jonny Månsson in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Askars ik's goalie prevented a goal. After 16 minutes, Jonny Månsson made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Askars ik's Emanuel Stenqvist tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Emanuel Stenqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonny Månsson's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Emanuel Stenqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by John Olofsson in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute Ciro Hustaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Freitag saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, IF Älgarna's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Ekström came free, but Albert Freitag reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 minutes of play, IF Älgarna's Emil Holmgren made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuel Stenqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Askars ik's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. John Olofsson was slow to take the kick. During this time IF Älgarna's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Askars ik's goalie and right to Dag Kock. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Askars ik's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 41st match minute, Askars ik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Blom to maneuver through the defense. Askars ik were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after IF Älgarna's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ciro Hustaz took the corner. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of Askars ik booed when IF Älgarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Melander didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herbert Blom during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Askars ik getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Herbert Blom hit a great ball. Emanuel Stenqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonny Månsson in the 57th minute of play. Askars ik's Ciro Hustaz got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Askars ik's Alfred Ekström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-1. After a rather tough play, Askars ik's Melker Barck got a free kick in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the game, Jonny Månsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Emanuel Stenqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonny Månsson in the 89th minute of play forced Askars ik's goalkeeper Emanuel Stenqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Hustaz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Albert Freitag skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
