Melker Barck hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Gregg Popovich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Valentine having to interfere. When Östen Brander came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Askars ik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Östen Brander couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute, Ciro Hustaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidoro Valentine was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Östen Brander notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of DZ Blue's Isidoro Valentine. Isidoro Valentine was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 17th minute Ciro Hustaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Ciro Hustaz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Askars ik fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 23 minutes into the match, Askars ik's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Hamnberg came free, but Emanuel Stenqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Hustaz in the 27th minute of play forced DZ Blue's goalkeeper Isidoro Valentine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30th play minutes Ciro Hustaz shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Isidoro Valentine and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 33rd minute, Alfred Ekström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isidoro Valentine came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Askars ik's Ciro Hustaz. But to his dismay, Ciro Hustaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Gregg Popovich managed to get in a good position for a shot. Askars ik's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregg Popovich was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidoro Valentine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jimmie Ahlin's late challenge caught a Askars ik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimmie Ahlin helped the player get up and apologised. Isidoro Valentine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Ekström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciro Hustaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, DZ Blue's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Hustaz came free, but Isidoro Valentine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciro Hustaz got free with Isidoro Valentine in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Isidoro Valentine successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, DZ Blue's Jimmie Ahlin got a free kick in the 60th minute. Isidoro Valentine didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciro Hustaz went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. 67 minutes into the match, DZ Blue's goalkeeper Isidoro Valentine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciro Hustaz. Isidoro Valentine stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Hustaz's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Ola Holmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Askars ik's Sven Olenberg was substituted for Alfred Ekström. After a rather tough play, Askars ik's Ciro Hustaz got a free kick in the 79th minute. With a little luck, DZ Blue's Isidoro Valentine got control of the ball when Ciro Hustaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Askars ik booed when DZ Blue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torbjörn Engman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Sven Olenberg notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of DZ Blue's Isidoro Valentine. Isidoro Valentine was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 0-9 when Sven Olenberg sped through DZ Blue's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Isidoro Valentine. Askars ik's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
