But to his dismay, Bennvar Nikkinen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Marieheim Mighty Moose's goal looked a bit too open when Folke Flink came free, but Duda de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Plan B booed when Marieheim Mighty Moose was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Snorre Slangens didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marieheim Mighty Moose's goalkeeper Duda de Queiroz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Duda de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Folke Flink, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Marieheim Mighty Moose's Duda de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folke Flink in the 20th minute of play. Duda de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernst Rolf in the 23rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Folke Flink in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duda de Queiroz saved Marieheim Mighty Moose from getting behind. Duda de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Rolf in the 26th minute of the match. Lucien Zollt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Örjan Andersson made a huge save. Duda de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folke Flink in the 30th minute of play. Marieheim Mighty Moose's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 46 minutes, Peter Buck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Plan B and the Marieheim Mighty Moose players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Plan B's Peter Buck got a free kick in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Folke Flink to make the kick off. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Marieheim Mighty Moose's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Plan B's Folke Flink got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Duda de Queiroz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bennvar Nikkinen in the 89th minute. Duda de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Folke Flink, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Örjan Andersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joakim Lindberg in the 93rd minute of play. The corner led Marieheim Mighty Moose's Lucien Zollt to fire away a dangerous shot which Örjan Andersson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 95th match minute, Plan B was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bennvar Nikkinen to maneuver through the defense.
