Henric Stål didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mattias Bergqvist went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Mattias Bergqvist sped through IFK Norrköping's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Henric Stål. IFK Norrköping's attentive Bernt Olsson managed to snatch the ball when Björn Hellsing made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. In the 20th match minute, IFK Norrköping was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens Spetz to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes Benbrott BK got a freekick which was hit by Emil Finman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias Bergqvist in the 22nd minute of play forced IFK Norrköping's goalkeeper Henric Stål to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernt Olsson charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernt Olsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th match minute, IFK Norrköping was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernt Olsson to maneuver through the defense. Henric Stål stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mattias Bergqvist's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Jens-Erik Linqvist scored 0-4 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henric Stål, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Björn Hellsing got a throw-in 34 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Mattias Bergqvist. In the 34thth minute of the game Mattias Bergqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but IFK Norrköping's Henric Stål was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 35 minutes of play, Benbrott BK's Mårten Lindqvist made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Mattias Bergqvist put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Henric Stål. After the first half Benbrott BK were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isac Olsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mattias Bergqvist in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henric Stål prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mattias Bergqvists short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Henric Stål to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mattias Bergqvist in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henric Stål prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henric Stål showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Bergqvist in the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Finman in the 64th minute of play forced IFK Norrköping's goalkeeper Henric Stål to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. IFK Norrköping's Henric Stål played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Bergqvist in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Emil Finman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henric Stål. IFK Norrköping's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emil Finman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. Henric Stål was a little too slow when Mattias Bergqvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-11. 74 minutes into the game, Mattias Bergqvist lined in a short shot 0-12 behind a frustrated Henric Stål. Henric Stål made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Bergqvist in the 78th minute of play. Henric Stål didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Benbrott BK's Mattias Bergqvist shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-13 in the ordered_time% minute. The supporters of Benbrott BK booed when IFK Norrköping was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernt Olsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henric Stål took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Bergqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Rickard Johansson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Henric Stål. That made the score 0-14 in the 86 minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Mattias Bergqvist made a precise shot to the right of Henric Stål. IFK Norrköping's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-16. Henric Stål came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Benbrott BK's Mattias Bergqvist. But to his dismay, Mattias Bergqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-17. The IFK Norrköping fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Benbrott BK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
