In the 6th minute Alexander Sundling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Svensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Saltö BK's goal looked a bit too open when Börge Apelkvist came free, but Sven Svensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 played minutes Gränden FK got a freekick which was hit by Börge Apelkvist. The audience was convinced that Kristian Granqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan-Åke Dahlgren was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Sven Svensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Sundling in the 16th minute of play. If Per-Åke Melander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. After 28 minutes, Tim Ugla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saltö BK and the Gränden FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Saltö BK! An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Per-Åke Melander got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 34 minutes into the match, Saltö BK's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Sundling came free, but Sven Svensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Saltö BK's Per-Åke Melander got a free kick in the 39th minute. When Kaj Jespersson fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saltö BK's protests and gave Kaj Jespersson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Kaj Jespersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven Svensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Sundling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Alexander Sundling made a precise shot to the right of Sven Svensson. Saltö BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2.

A collision led to Gränden FK getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Arvin Karlsson hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Börge Apelkvist got free with Sven Svensson in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan-Åke Dahlgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristian Granqvist in the 59th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Saltö BK's corner Mattias Nyberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jan-Åke Dahlgren quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Saltö BK booed when Gränden FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Uter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aron Tunander succeeded in the game's 63rd minute to get real power on a long shot . Gränden FK's Jan-Åke Dahlgren hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 1-2! After a rather tough play, Saltö BK's Kristian Granqvist got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gränden FK's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Dahlgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jan-Åke Dahlgren came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Saltö BK's Per-Åke Melander. But to his dismay, Per-Åke Melander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 77 minutes into the match, Gränden FK's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Åke Melander came free, but Jan-Åke Dahlgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristian Granqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Saltö BK's Sven Svensson got control of the ball when Alexander Sundling tried to sneak it across the goal line. Per-Åke Melander scored 3-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan-Åke Dahlgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mattias Nyberg struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Jan-Åke Dahlgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saltö BK. Alexander Sundlings short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Sven Svensson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Many of Gränden FK's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Gränden FK may have spent more time on the ball, but Saltö BK were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
