FC Loosers's Torbjörn Bergsten was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Herman Bohlin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Fors in the 14th minute of play forced Malmö FF's goalkeeper Herman Bohlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Loosers's Emil Alebom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save FC Loosers from getting a goal against them. After taking down the ball on Malmö FF's corner 徐崇真 fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Emil Alebom quite easily take care of the ball. 徐崇真 hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The supporters of FC Loosers booed when Malmö FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ted Jönsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Torbjörn Fors's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herman Bohlin was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. The corner led FC Loosers's Torbjörn Bergsten to fire away a dangerous shot which Herman Bohlin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Malmö FF's goal looked a bit too open when Ludwig Ström came free, but Herman Bohlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Malmö FF's Mattias Eriksson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emil Alebom. Emil Alebom yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mattias Eriksson got free with Emil Alebom in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mattias Eriksson was the one to do the kick off. Malmö FF's Herman Bohlin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Malmö FF from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, FC Loosers's Albert Kvalfält got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Malmö FF's goalkeeper Herman Bohlin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ludwig Ström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ted Jönsson came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Malmö FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ted Jönsson couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute Felix Hafström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Alebom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Malmö FF had won after a very even match.
