In the 2nd minute, Malmö FF's Haroldo Vale dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 6 minutes of play, Malmö FF's Felix Hafström made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Helge Brandin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aros Vättar's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Mattias Eriksson scored to the left of an out of position Helge Brandin, making the score, 3-0. The supporters of Malmö FF booed when Aros Vättar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frans Björkman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th match minute, Aros Vättar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar Arvidsson to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Mattias Eriksson took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Helge Brandin to make any attempt to save it. 19 minutes into the game, Mattias Eriksson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Helge Brandin. Mattias Eriksson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. 21 minutes into the game, Sakarias Bergman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aros Vättar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malmö FF the free kick. After 24 minutes of play, Malmö FF's Mattias Eriksson made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Helge Brandin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Roland Haegg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Helge Brandin. That made the score 7-0 in the 27 minute of play. Herman Bohlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dick Lagerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Hafström's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Helge Brandin firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Haroldo Vale kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Helge Brandin. That made the score 8-0 in the 33 minute of play. After 55 minutes of play, Malmö FF's Roland Haegg made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Helge Brandin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 59th minute Filip Van Houtvinc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helge Brandin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Helge Brandin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sakarias Lind in the 61st minute of play. Helge Brandin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 66 played minutes Aros Vättar got a freekick which was hit by Dick Lagerberg. 70 minutes into the match, Mattias Eriksson notched a goal, 15-0, to the right of Aros Vättar's Helge Brandin. Helge Brandin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 73 played minutes Aros Vättar got a freekick which was hit by Frans Björkman. Helge Brandin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sakarias Lind in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Felix Hafström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Helge Brandin was frozen by the shot and now it was 16-0. 83 minutes into the match, Felix Hafström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Helge Brandin. Aros Vättar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Hafström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 18-0. After a rather tough play, Aros Vättar's Frans Björkman got a free kick in the 85th minute. If Haroldo Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Helge Brandin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Vale in the 88th minute of play. Helge Brandin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Eriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Aros Vättar's Helge Brandin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Haegg in the 93rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Aros Vättar defense, Sakarias Lind kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Helge Brandin. The Aros Vättar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Helge Brandin should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that Malmö FF were the better team. Malmö FF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
