Hugo Alkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. George Alfors made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torsten Rosendahl in the 8th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in King Faisal Babes F.C.'s zone, Kent Kvarnström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. George Alfors came out of the goal and Kent Kvarnström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the match, King Faisal Babes F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Oskar Pilberg came free, but George Alfors reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Oskar Pilberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Alfors having to interfere. Torsten Rosendahl took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised George Alfors. George Alfors dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Kent Kvarnström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but George Alfors read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute of the match Libeccio Grif got a corner. King Faisal Babes F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sven-Oskar Pilberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Libeccio Grif's Gösta Gerdberg getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Torsten Rosendahl scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of George Alfors, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Torsten Rosendahl put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of George Alfors. George Alfors made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Kvarnström in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, King Faisal Babes F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Oskar Pilberg came free, but George Alfors reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. George Alfors showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Oskar Pilberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. George Alfors took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Oskar Pilberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Libeccio Grif's Torsten Rosendahl got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sven-Oskar Pilberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. George Alfors tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kent Kvarnström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Alfors having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mårten Larsfelt to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Kent Kvarnström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of George Alfors, 0-4. George Alfors showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Ström in the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute Kent Kvarnström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Alfors saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Peter Ekelund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Sven-Oskar Pilberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Libeccio Grif's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Oskar Pilberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. George Alfors breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 66 minutes into the game, Peter Ekelund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. King Faisal Babes F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Libeccio Grif the free kick. In the 67th minute, Kent Kvarnström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. George Alfors showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torsten Rosendahl in the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute of the match Libeccio Grif got a corner. Despite this George Alfors quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the King Faisal Babes F.C. defense, Kent Kvarnström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of George Alfors. The King Faisal Babes F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that George Alfors should have stopped the shot. If Kent Kvarnström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Libeccio Grif's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torsten Rosendahl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sakarias Hylander charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sakarias Hylander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 played minutes King Faisal Babes F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sakarias Hylander. When the final whistle sounded Libeccio Grif left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than King Faisal Babes F.C..
