After 41 played minutes Borgen BK got a freekick which was hit by Gustaf Tham. 43 minutes into the match, Borgen BK's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Engström came free, but Gustav Hägg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, FC Bors's Karl-Magnus Sjöö nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustav Hägg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl-Magnus Sjöö made a kick off. Henry Örnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ole-Kristian Tomter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Magnus Sjöö had several of the Borgen BK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 55 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Gustav Hägg as he didn't even see the shot coming. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Joakim Vallgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bors's supporters rose to their feet, but Joakim Vallgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustav Hägg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Kjell Engström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ole-Kristian Tomter in the 67th minute of play forced FC Bors's goalkeeper Henry Örnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joakim Vallgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustav Hägg having to interfere. Karl-Magnus Sjöö struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Gustav Hägg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Bors. FC Bors made a substitution. Erling Pilblad replaced Joar Albohm. After 74 minutes Borgen BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Karl-Magnus Sjöö who took care of the corner kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Magnus Sjöö in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustav Hägg saved Borgen BK from getting behind. After 85 minutes, Karl-Magnus Sjöö made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Borgen BK's Gustav Hägg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Henry Örnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ole-Kristian Tomter in the 93rd minute of play. FC Bors's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
